David Walker
David Walker is Consultant in Critical Care Medicine and Anaesthesia at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) and Co-Director of Intensive Care Services at the Princess Grace Hospital. Dr Walker trained in medicine in Southampton before qualifying as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and working in Oxford, Toronto and Portsmouth. David completed higher training in Anaesthesia in London, attaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and Critical Care Medicine. His interest is in high-risk surgery and has developed a new Post -Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) facility at UCLH. "I believe that the best care for patients undergoing major surgery is achieved by a focussed multi-disciplinary team. Together we can provide a package of care from admission to discharge, which improves surgical outcomes and provides a comfortable, high quality service for patients".
