Charles Imber
Mr Charles Imber is also a leading London teaching hospital consultant with a special interest in the treatment of abdominal wall hernias. He is the Head of Service for Liver and Bile Duct Surgery at UCLH, and part of the liver transplant team at the Royal Free Hospital. Mr Imber has a specialist interest in the diagnosis and treatment of groin pain in athletes as well as performing both laparoscopic and open hernia repair on a regular basis. He qualified in medicine at Cambridge University, where he went on to obtain an MD thesis, before progressing to postgraduate training in London, Oxford and Birmingham. He became a consultant in 2006.
