David Floyd
Mr David Floyd is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer at The Royal Free and University College hospitals in London. He has a specialist interest in complex soft tissue reconstruction, particularly involving the breast, abdomen, hand and lower limb. He has provided support to the complex hernia service at UCLH for the last six years. He is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) as a specialist in plastic surgery and is a full member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). He graduated from Cambridge University in 1985 and completed his medical degree at University College Hospital London in 1988.
Following four years of general surgical training, an MSc in Wound Healing and eight years of plastic surgery training, he became a consultant in 2002.
