Mr. Hiten Patel

Mr. Hiten Patel is a pioneering surgeon with a special interest in Urological Disease and Minimally Invasive Surgery including laparoscopy and Robotics. His NHS practice is based in a leading teaching hospital in London, where he routinely operates on complex pelvic surgery, with a special interest in retroperitoneal and extraperitoneal surgery. The expertise from this type of surgery is needed to deal with hernia cases that go wrong, which compromise the testicle blood supply.
Mr Patel is also Deputy Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery and Simulation Centre at UCLH, leading education for trainee and established Surgeons and their teams. Mr Patel trained in London and the USA, while completing his PhD.
